Guest Blog Post - My Summer Face

Hello to all of Natalie’s lovely readers,

As I am ambushing (well not quite) her blog while she was away I thought I would take this opportunity to do a post on some products I think I will be using a LOT this Summer.
I am always after an easy, light coverage make-up in the summer. I don’t like to have make-up dripping from my face but I also like to make sure I have enough coverage that can give me that naturally sun-kissed look.

The first product within my Summer face to rave about is Origins VitaZing. After hearing almost every beauty blogger talk about how amazing Origins VitaZing is, I thought I would give it a go. This product is certainly worth the hype. While it is essentially a moisturiser, I see it as being much more than that. You blend it onto your skin and as you start to rub it in you instantly notice a slight tan colour coming out that blends with your skin tone. You don’t look orange, you just look like you have an even skin tone with a really subtle glow.
I have been wearing the same products on my face for the past week so I thought I would share them with you.

Firstly we have Origins VitaZing which is simply amazing and totally worth £22.50.
Then we have MAC’s Blush in Well Dressed which is one of my all-time favourites. It is so easy and wearable and creates a lovely flush to the cheek. It is a light pink but it doesn’t make you look like you are a doll.

Then there’s concealer. My favourite for the past 8 months has been MAC’s studio finish concealer. I am in the colour NW15 and I absolutely love it. Even for summer, it is perfect coverage.

Then finally we have Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder in number 52. I love this bronzer. It has some subtle shimmer and is so easy to apply on the face. I use my Sigma F25 brush and I can easily say it is such an easy product to work with. The bonus is that it looks like chocolate and smells like coconut – amazing!

Overall I would recommend all products I have mentioned and I fully plan on this being my Summer face routine. What is going to be in yours?

xoxo
