My Weekend

Wow it's been a crazy long weekend which has been amazing for me.... i mean I love these bank holidays but I've spoilt myself by taking off those 3 days in-between.... which means...


11 DAYS OFF BABY!!!


AND BREATHE..... =)


 So here is a few things i've got up to so far =)


1. Shopping and lots of it. Pay day was here and it has been a long while since I have actually bought clothes and not cosmetics. I hit up primark and bought these beauty dresses. All for under £10, how amazing is that. 

2. My mums 50th... her 3rd party I might add.... she parties like the queen. Here are a few from our house party.

4. Changed my hair again.. going for a Kim K locks, well, trying to anyway.

5. PASSED MY 3RD MAKEUP ASSIGNMENT! GO ME!!


6. Doing the write up for my 4th and final one and then I am DONE.

7. Off to Brighton tomorrow. I've never been there before so i am very excited about this.... any tips of where to go and places that I should definitely go and see let me know.

Payday was amongst me yesterday and what a better way to spend than to pop to superdrug and get some make-up.

Jessie J Nobody's Perfect Makeup

WOW... Jessie J.... WHAT A WOMAN!
She is my girl crush and the latest video from her is just amazing. From a trainee MUA eyes, the video is filled with inspiring make-up looks, use of props and colours. I'm not going to lie, I've watched it about 10 times already... =/


I picked this look to recreate as I found it quite bold looking. The strong lip colour, the darkness of the eyes. I loved the way it drew me in so I decided why not recreate this look ( to the best of my ability )

What I say:

I love dry shampoo. Its just so convenient to use for in-between washes when your hair starts to look a little greasy. Plus it's an absolute god send when your at a festival =)

Anywho, I tested this one out and first of all let me tell you.... the smell of the 'BRIT' is gorgeous! It's sooo fresh. Hard to describe but its just... fresh =)

Like I said before, I love the idea of dry shampoo, especially when your on the move and you just don't have the time to wash your hair. Just a few quick sprays, a quick comb through and your ready and out the door!


*BLUSHBLENDBEAUTY TIP* Use on just washed hair to create volume along with back combing! The hold is incredible as it adds texture to your hair =)

My VERY last assignment - WHAT A DRAG!

I was practically bouncing around the house last night as I completed my final makeup brief!

It was told to be 'Theatrical' and basically to use all your skills that you have learn and really just go with it!

Soooo............. I DID! =)

I picked to create my own 'Priscilla Queen of the Dessert' look, and my boyfriends brother was more happy to help me =)

I went and saw miss grace as it has been a good few months since the IMATS where I actually met her for the first time =)

And basically she's been a bestie since! Amazing what you can do on a the internet...
